Stephanie was born and raised in Rustburg, VA. She first discovered dance fitness while in college at VCU. Zumba was Stephanie's first love, and she was an instructor for 3 years before developing her own dance fitness style. She has taught Hip Hop Cardio, Dance2Fit, and Zumba prior to opening The Vibe Studio in 2018.
Now, Stephanie teaches Pole Fitness, TwerkOut, BootyCamp, and Dance Fitness. When she is not at the studio, Stephanie is busy raising her daughter, loving on her two cats and dog, and working on her dissertation for her Doctor of Education. She loves iced coffee, true crime shows, and pizza from almost anywhere.
Susan comes to us by way of Cincinnati, Ohio. When she’s not at the studio, she can be found hanging out with her cat Felix, plant shopping, or eating pizza. Susan started dancing when she was in elementary school. Over the years, she has studied ballet, tap, and jazz. She is very excited for the opportunity to continue sharing her love for her dance and to add a new style to her repertoire. You can find her in the pole studio, improving her tricks skills and teaching Hella Heels classes.
Lee was born and raised in Northern, New Jersey but has called Lynchburg home since 2010. Raised by a family of musicians, she's had a passion for music, especially hip hop and r&b for as long as she can remember. She loves challenging herself to try new things and has gotten really into snowboarding, hiking, camping/road tripping, thrifting and now Dance Fitness! Since the first day she found dance fitness at The Vibe, she has been beyond obsessed! The club atmosphere is great and someone with no dance experience can come and jump right in! She loves that it is a place where people of all backgrounds who might not be comfortable at the gym can go and have an amazing time. The Vibe has helped immensely with her mental health and confidence. She always looks forward to going to class because of the positive energy and the encouraging community you can find there. When away from the studio, you can find her running her fashion resale business!
Mercedies was born and raised in the mountains of Idaho. Then after spending several years in Montana, she and her husband moved to Virginia. When she isn’t at the studio, Mercedies can be found hiking, camping and doing anything in the water. She has a passion for performance and has spent most of her time jumping on a stage. At the studio, you'll find her doing TikToks and teaching BootyCamp!
Raven was born in Lynchburg and raised in Long Island, VA. She loves dance so much, she decided to form her passion into a small business (LLC) M.A.K. - Motivate and Kreate is a creative company that denotes dancing as a healing mechanism. M.A.K. will prove that the expression of dance can cultivate confidence and self-awareness. She has taught dance for pageants, cheerleading, step team, and many more in the last 9 years. Her preference of dance is Hip Hop and Grown & Sexy! When she dances, she feels assertive and unrestricted, which has brought her to love herself beyond measure, and once that music comes on, the rest is history. In her free time, her enjoys writing poetry and music, her artist name is Ravebaee - it's sort of an alter ego. Raven is thrilled for this opportunity and can't wait to witness the confidence boost you'll obtain from her TwerkOut class!
Courtney is a military brat who has settled in Lynchburg. Dance has been her passion her whole life since she began taking lessons at 3 years old. Before moving to Lynchburg, she performed with and choreographed for a pre-professional ballet company. Her main training has been in pallet, pointe, and jazz and she has absolutely fallen in love with pole dance. She has gained so much strength and confidence with each class and is excited to share that with others in her Hella Heels class! Outside of the dance studio, she also enjoys writing, crochet, and Dungeons and Dragons.
Rachel was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. Her dance journey began in 2015 at a local swing dance. Since then, she has trained in many different dance styles including Latin, Swing, Ballroom, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She also competes across the country in Modern (West Coast) Swing, in which her and her husband also teach lessons. Heels and Burlesque training came naturally to her and she loves creating these sexy solo routines for getting fit! When she’s not at the studio or away at competition, she’s probably snuggling with her two doggos and binge watching tv. Find her jamming in the studio for her Burlesque Burnout and Burlesque+Pole classes!
Lyndsay is from Lynchburg, and she loves dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She started attending Dance Fitness in 2019 at The Vibe Studio to lose a little weight and she was absolutely hooked from the first class! At The Vibe, she's gained accountability, a community of like-minded women, self love/confidence, and lost over 50 pounds. Lyndsay has been dancing her whole life, starting in Tap and continued on into competition Cheer. She's trained at UVA and Virginia Tech dance camps as well as different dance studios around Lynchburg. You'll find her doing TikToks and in Dance Fitness classes all week long!
Megan was born in Philadelphia, PA, raised in Bedford County, VA and attended college at the University of Lynchburg. When she's not working out or at her day job, you can find her hanging out with her husband and daughters! They love being outside and finding new adventures to get into! You can find her in the pole room most days and in her Pole 0 level classes!
Cooper is from Forest, Va and have been dancing since the age of 7. She fell in love instantly and started competitive dancing at age 9. Cooper has been a dance teacher on and off for 10 years in Forest and Northern Virginia. Her training includes; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, and Cheer. Since first discovering The Vibe, she's been hooked from the very first class. She is so excited to be able to join such a fantastic atmosphere full of amazing people! Jessica is a Lynchburg native who found yoga to help with her mental health as a part of the healing journey. She has been a certified 200 hour Yoga teacher for almost since 2017. Jessica also is trained in Restorative and Yin Yoga. She enjoys house plants, breakfast food, dogs, concerts, and coloring. Jessica is dedicated to helping her community thrive and works in social work. You can often find her in colorful clothes and funky patterns in and outside of the studio. You'll find Jess teaching Slow Your Flow Yoga and Club Yoga.
Theo is a professional dancer and choreographer with over 14 years of experience in the arts. He holds certifications for Group Fitness, Aquatic Group Fitness, Lifeguarding, and Swing Lesson Instruction. He has trained performed, and taught for many organizations on the east coast including; University of Maryland, Spirit Cruises, PhilaDanco Dance Company, Broadway Dance Center, Keith Lee Dances, Charlottesville Ballet, and central Virginia YMCA. Combining his artistic gifts with his athletic abilities, Theo developed the formula that is Cardio Groove. His Mission has been to inspire people to move, get healthy and in shape, and have fun doing it!
