Our Instructors


Stephanie was born and raised in Rustburg, VA. She first discovered dance fitness while in college at VCU. Zumba was Stephanie's first love, and she was an instructor for 3 years prior to developing her own dance fitness style. She has taught Hip Hop Cardio, Dance2Fit, and Zumba prior to opening The Vibe Studio in 2018.

Now, Stephanie teaches Pole Fitness, TwerkOut, and Dance Fitness. When she is not at the studio, Stephanie is busy raising her daughter, loving on her two cats, and working on her dissertation for her Doctor of Education. She loves iced coffee, true crime shows, and pizza from almost anywhere. 



Amy spent the majority of time growing up in Roanoke VA. She began dancing at the age of 5 and has studied tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet and pointe. She loves getting to learn new dance moves and helping others find their groove even early in the morning! During the day she loves working with college students as a mental health counselor. In her free time she enjoys hanging with her dog patches, going to wineries, live music and hanging out with friends!



Rachel was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. Her dance journey began just 5 years ago at a local swing dance. Since then, she has trained in many different partner dances within Latin, swing, and ballroom and has become a professional swing instructor. She also competes across the country in West Coast Swing, in which her and her husband also teach lessons locally. Heels and burlesque training came naturally to her and she loves creating these sexy solo routines for getting fit! When she’s not at the studio or away at competition, she’s probably snuggling with her two doggos and binge watching tv. 



I’m from Lynchburg, and I love dancing and spending time with my family and friends. I started dance fitness two years ago at The Vibe Studio to lose a little weight and I was absolutely hooked from the first class! I tried on my own for years and nothing ever stuck, but this was something way different. I've gained accountability, a community of like-minded women, self love/confidence, and lost over 50 pounds while learning to keep it off for good doing what I love!



Lisa is originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog and indoors reading or playing video games with her cat. She did gymnastics for nine years before first learning pole fitness and has pole danced for four years. She loves teaching others how to feel strong and confident with their new moves!



Dayna is originally from San Diego, CA, but calls Lynchburg home. She grew up playing sports, and is passionate about nutrition and exercise. Dayna started dancing a few years ago and has been teaching Dance Fitness for a year.  She owns an Arbonne business and spends her days with her family, playing with her three daughters, chatting with friends over wine or coffee, and volunteering within her church and community.  



Susan comes to us by way of Cincinnati, Ohio. When she’s not at the studio, she can be found hanging out with her cat Felix, plant shopping, or eating pizza. Susan started dancing when she was in elementary school. Over the years she has studied ballet, tap, and jazz.  She is very excited for the opportunity to continue sharing her love for her dance and to add a new style to her repertoire.
